Six Refreshing instant drinks for Iftar Menu





At Iftar all you need is a good and refreshing drink that will help you to avoid dehydration and have the instant refreshment along with energy too, as fasting in summer can cause you dehydration that could land you up into a great trouble sometimes Here are some refreshing and quick drinks that are hydrant and instantly prepared for your Iftar menu. 

Mint Margarita
At the top we have Mint Margarita; it is a mint enriched drink that simply gives you the cooling and refreshing blast of mint in summers. Especially at Iftar you need a refreshing punch that helps you to regain energy and fight the heat inside so here is the best drink you could have. 

The preparation time for the drink is not more than five minutes and the basic ingredients you need for the drink are:
Carbonated water- 250ml
Fresh Mint Leaves -almost 15
Salt - According to Taste
Crushed Ice -As per Requirement

All you have to do is to add up all the ingredients into a blender and blend them well, use salt and Ice according to your preference and serve chill in Iftar. 

Strawberry Lemonade
On the number two, we have Strawberry Lemonade that comes with two most refreshing things Strawberry and Lemon. In combination both of them gives you some real refreshment and it is also lighter on your stomach at Iftar time. It is important for you to choose the lighter drink so you will not feel any burden or unease after having it. The major ingredients for the drink are:
Strawberries – 1cup
Fresh Lemon Juice – ½ cup
Water – 4 cups
Sugar – ½ cup
Ice Cubes – as per requirement
The preparation is simple and quick, add all the ingredients into a blender along with ice and blend to the perfection. Else you can add the Ice cubes separately if you are using chilled water. 

Cucumber Lemonade
The next option of the refreshing drink for your Iftar menu you will have the Cucumber Lemonade, it is something that is unusual but gives you a regressing kick for sure. To beat the heat of summer it is the best solution and you could have it in variant styles such as sweet, lime or salted as well. The major ingredients are:
Large Cucumber – 1
Lemon Juice – ½ cup of as per taste
Lemon Zest – 1 tsp
Sugar – ¾ cup or add honey to keep it healthy
Water – 6 cups
Salt – as per taste
Ice – as required
Chop cucumber into small pieces add half of water and sugar into the blender along with cucumber and blend it well. Pour the mixture into a jug and add remaining water, lemon juice, lemon zest and salt to taste along with ice cubes and serve chill. For taste variation, you can add carbonated water too.

Strawberry Lassi
Yogurt and Lassi are the conventional cooling agent that are preferred to be used in summers, when lassi meets strawberry it gives you amazing taste and more refreshment too.
Chilled Yogurt – 2cups
Chilled milk – ½ cup
Strawberries chopped – 1 cup
Sugar – as per taste
Rose or Kewra water – 2tsp
Fresh cream – 2tbsp (optional)
Add milk and yogurt into a blender and mix it well, after a pause adds other ingredients and blend it for 2 – 3 min with intervals and serve chill strawberry lassi. 


Mango Ice Tea
You have listened about Ice Tea but when it gets combined with the king of fruits then it makes a greater deal for your Iftar menu. Here come the ingredients:
Chopped Mango – 1 cup
Black Tea – 2tsp or (2 teabags)
Lemon juice – 1tbsp
Water 4 cups
Sugar – add to taste
Ice – as required
Blend chopped mango into a blender to make a fine puree, boil up water, add tea and sugar into it and let it boil for 30 sec. let it cool and then strain into a large bowl or jug, now add lemon juice, mango puree, and ice cubes into it and mix it well. Serve it chilled in the Iftar time.
